Hola Familia! como estan? it is so weird that it has almost been a week here in the MTC! My roommate made a good observation. he said the weeks seem like days, but the days seem like weeks.. sometimes it really feels like that. Some of the days seem soooo long, mainly because i'm not used to being in a classroom for over ten hours a day. But it is great being here. there is a spirit that you feel that is amazing! I have learned soo much in the past week that it is unimaginable.. I know i couldn't have learned all that spanish, and teaching skills by myself. thanks to your prayers and the hand of our heavenly father, i am able to learn so much in so little time. it's hard to think that i'll know lots of spanish, and hopefully be able to carry a full conversation in just ten short weeks. But i know i can do it with the Lords help. To start, i want to thank all of you who sent me packages! It has been so nice to receive them, and so thoughtful. So thank you very much! How is everything going? anything new and exciting happening? I hope all is well. Dad, did you sell my truck yet? Does Millie miss me? How are the kiddos? Well anyway, the first day was pretty hard, the following day was even harder, and the day after that was the hardest. But after those days, it seems like the days have gotten shorter. I am truly trying to lose myself here. It is such hard work, but I know it is what the Lord wants me to do. And i owe it to him. It is such a wonderful experience to be here! But the Lord gives us trials. Yes i have a trial. Mi Companero. we are opposite in almost every way, but i love him. We have nothing in common! But as i've learned in the past couple days, we do have something in common. We are both Misioneros de la iglesia de Jesucristo de los santos de los ultimos dias. And that is all that matters. Sometimes it's hard to remember that, and there are many things that bother me. We are always late, or close to late, and other things, but that doesn't matter. We started learning spanish the second day we were here. We now know how to say prayers, bear our testimonies (for the most part), and conjugate verbs which i already know how. So it's some good stuff. We taught the first lesson the second day we were here as well. What a disaster! We had no idea what to say or how to say anything(in english of course), but since then it's gotten easier. There is so much i want to say, but since we are only given thirty minutes, and the first fifteen consisted of me signing up for this thing, so i will end with this.
