things really went well for the district last week! we've got cambios
this week. i found out that Puren, after finally getting someone to
church, is going to be closed. it's a good idea though because the members
weren't helping, and there wasn't much "success" going on there. Elder
Sealey was called to be a district leader in Los Angeles... which is
great. i hope it will help him have more confidence. he's a great kid..
Collipulli is staying together. they have been having some ridiculous
fights, so they weren't too excited to hear me tell them that they are
staying. they are both being a little immature, dumb things that they
are fighting about... so hopefully they can work it out this cambio. Elder
Beatty is going to a sector down in Temuco. as for me? well... I'M HAVING
A KID! he's due tomorrow :) i'm excited i'm going to be a "dad" and be able
to train. it will be tough... i'm sure, especially with being a district
leader on top of that. but i am very excited! to make things even better....
two of my best friends, Elders Lisonbee and Mendenhall are training too! its
going to be awesome, i'm sure. that's really all i have to tell you this
week. it's freakinnggg cold here! they said it was going to snow
today (it never does), and it ended up not snowing... just being
ridiculously cold. i don't think it matters how many layers you wear,
it will never be enough.

oh, one more thing. we found out that a mouse had been living in our
room. well... i wasn't going to have any of that, so i bought a trap and threw
some cheese on it. evidently, the mouse kept taking the cheese off the trap
without it going off. "his" ability to steal cheese turned into a challenge. finally
after almost a week of this thing taking cheese off the trap, i rigged
the trap to be a little more sensitive. then i put some cheese on it,
went down stairs... thirty seconds later i here a SNAP. so i ran up
stairs to find.... my strategy worked! fun stuff...and that was the excitement
for this week... ha. well i love you all... hope you have a great week!

oh... and i don't think i really need anything. just save money and don't
send packages. however, could you pray for Victor and Javiera so they can
get permission to get baptized... and of course for my new comp, that he can
enjoy his first moments in the mission with me and be able to find investigators
to baptize. i love you all! have a great week!
