well it's the last week here at the MTC!! it has gone by so fast... we got our flight plans on Friday. we leave at 6 in the morning from here and don't get to Chile till the next day at around 12 i think? total is 27 hours of layovers and the flights. wow it's going to be funnn! this week has been really great. we had the best TRC ever! It was the first time i didn't worry about how i was speaking spanish. i was just worrying about how the investigator felt. it was amazing! the spirit was so strong and i felt really good afterward. for once i wasn't really disappointed.
General Conference was amazing! one of the things that really stuck out to me was about fear. mom you might want to consider this for your lesson. everybody has fear one time or another. i have fear for leaving to a destination that i know nothing about, with people i don't know. it's a scary thought. but when we have faith in our Savior there is not need to worry. He is always there for us and will never leave us alone. it's such a great feeling knowing that we are never alone. we need to have faith to know that He knows what is best for us. just have faith. anyways, not much other than that.
i'm realizing how much i'm going to miss my district… but life goes on. luckily a lot of them are from Utah! thanks for the packages and card. i really appreciate it. the reason i was at the health office was because my nose was having those blood clots again, so i just wanted to make sure i didn't have an infection. all is well, the dr. gave me a spray and some antibiotic.
so is it ok if i use both kinds of bags? you can take out 20 bucks from my account. some other elders wanted to use one or two and they said they would buy them… so i can send you that money as well. I learned i can’t take two carry on’s, so i'm going to send a suitcase home. it's lame, but my carry on can only be 17 pounds... so i only get 117 pounds for all the stuff i’ll need for 2 years!! but i'll make it work. is there any way you can send me something bright to tie on to my suit cases or something that i can use just to recognize them? alot of elders have the same luggage.
i am going to send home the bag with things i'm not going to take with me. and i think elder mondragon will send his bag too… if that's alright. you can look at the stuff i send home i don't care, but maybe put the bags in my storage unit? is dad starting my bike every once in a while? don't worry i'm not worrying about that, i was just curious. there is life after the mission you know :) i'm praying for dad. i hope he gets better... i still have some time on my email so if i think of anything else i need i will email you. oh and on Saturdays the mail office closes at two so if you are trying to get anything to me make sure it's before two cuz i won't see anything after that... hmmm, well i'll probably email a little bit more later. but i love you all and miss you tons! but i love serving the Lord. there's nothing better! la iglesia es verdadera. los quiero!
