first i want to congratulate the Fullers on the new addition to the family! That’s awesome! i hope all goes well!

yeah i don’t know if I’m just getting numb from all the experiences or if I’m not really having experiences… honestly… not much has happened this past week.. there wasn’t really progression from our investigators and, well, none of them showed up. i take that back... one showed up. our eternal investigator, Alicia. Alicia is over 70, short, looks kind of like a little witch… and she has three, maybe four teeth. she is so loving and funny. her laugh is hilarious! always smiling. she has a horrible memory though. the last transfer we taught her three times about Joseph Smith on Saturday night, and on Sunday when i saw her, i asked her who he was and she couldn’t remember. but she always shows up to church! i asked her which church was true and she says the Jehova and points to our church ha ha. i asked her how she knows that. she said that Jesus spoke to her one day when she was walking by the church and said, “Alicia, this is the true church.” what an answer, right!? Well, we are waiting on baptizing her. i believe she is already saved, but maybe in time she will be baptized. Oh, and she always gives kisses! the culture here is that whenever people greet people, they give kisses on the cheek. Well, we tell her every time that we can’t give kisses, but yet she always forgets..... go figure. so in the middle of sacrament, she gets up and comes over to me, telling me she has to leave. i said ok have a great day, chao. and what happens? she gives me a kiss in front of everybody! Ha ha, it was pretty funny and everyone laughed. but she’s a great woman.

Ignacia and Reinaldo didn’t show up because they were on a trip this weekend... i went by this past week and talked to Reinaldo. I told him that we were playing ping pong and asked if we could come by and teach this week. well, then his mom came out… not so happy. Reinaldo asked if we could come by… she said sure but didn’t know when and was just making up excuses. Reinaldo kept asking about other days and his mom kept making excuses! aaaah! mothers... just kidding mom! but seriously… i can feel that he wants to learn more! but the mom is holding them both back.... so we’ll see if we can gain her confidence this week. other than that, nothing new.. the transfers are in a week! ah… this time is flying.... i love you all! have a great week! thanks for sending me a package mom! i love you!
