oh man what a week.... so i had a cold and then it went away. then this last week i got another one…only times fifteen! it started Monday night. i got a sore throat… then that night i shivered all night, not because i was cold, but i was sick and I was literally shivering! i was shaking the bed! then i slept in the next day and took a pill. then my neck started to ache and my glands were swollen. i dealt with that… and still am, but I’m getting better. then to top it off, Saturday night my eyes were bugging the crap out of me! they were just watering like crazy! Sunday morning i wake up and can’t open my eyes! they were glued shut and crusty! not swollen though. i pried them open with my fingers and looked in the mirror. my eyes were blood shot… and still are! I’m guessing an infection or something…no worries though… I’m just about better now. however, it looks like i’ve been crying for days… ha ha. i tell that to the members I’m saying goodbye to.
my new comp has the same time as me, but is Latino… so a little more experienced. i have heard only good things about him and i have met him a couple times. He’s a stud and i can’t wait to work with him! the ward there is strong… with over a hundred people… so it will be quite a change for me. I’m very excited and just loving life!
the fruit here is great! right now… not so much, but i’m loving their oranges and bananas. the fruit drinks are great, but nothing spectacular. i’m living off cereal and yogurt still… ha ha. but i’m doing fine. the lunches are great and i’m really starting to like beans... because… well, i have to like beans. we eat them a lot!
selling the ranch?! that makes me sad! Can’t we at least keep a little bit of it? let me know how it goes.. and i haven’t received any packages yet, but i did receive the letter from the reunion. thank you all! it is so great to hear from you all, i loved it! well that’s it for now. i love you tons!
so here are some pictures of our district and zone. then of the whiteboard. yes i teach English, and do you notice something? i'm teaching them gangster words as well.. then pictures of two great families in the ward. Hermana Juanita and her son are recent converts and feed us two times a week. the other is Familia Hormero, the mom is just like Curtis´s mom... its crazy. they are a great family. the other picture is us riding in the micro(bus) that is pimped out with neon lights. its not the best bus, but i am waiting to take a picture of the real pimped out ones.
