well, thanks to everyone for your prayers!
i truly get a stronger testimony of prayer every week! this week has
been such a crazy one... things were getting hard.. really hard with
my companion. i could just see everything that he was doing that was
just ruining the reputation for the missionaries. i was on my last
straw, and had no more patience left... but, i had been praying for myself
and for him... obviously. on Thursday, after lunch, the other
missionaries (zone leaders that we share the sector with) had talked to
a bunch of members about my comp... after the conversation they were done
with him as well and we were on the verge of an emergency transfer. espinal
talked to roman...he was very blunt about the things that had been said. it was
so crazy. roman completely changed. he really humbled himself and
changed! we now get along great; we walk together, almost everything he
says is good to the members, and we laugh and have a good time. it is
so great! i'm truly grateful for having support from all of you and
from my Heavenly Father, who knows just what to do at just the right time.
things are going a lot better here in that respect. as for investigators...
it's not going that well.. but there is hope.
i have been reading a book called Evidences of the True Church by
Dennis Brown. i suggest that all of you go get this book! i love it! it is so
amazing...it has all the interesting facts that show that this church is literally
the true church. it gives real hard stone evidence that this is the true
church. it's great. and has lots of great things in it. so read it! oh
and i went to get my haircut today... ugh. i told her to trim it. well
next thing i know my head is buzzed. so now i look like i'm in the army...
ha. it will be nice though for the hot weather! ill try to send
pictures. well i love you all! have a great week!
