fotos that i forgot to send, the computers here are reallly slow. ivanand friends and the gas truck that ivan made me... ha ha... its hilarious!
you just have to understand that there are gas trucks everywhere here.
and its like the slug bug game but with gas trucks instead of cars.

well hello,
first off, thank you for the packages! i didn’t know if i should
open them so i haven yet… but thank you sooo much!!! i’m excited! you
know it’s kind of weird. i didn’t even realize that it was
Thanksgiving... i guess you kind of forget when you’re not in your own
country. i’m pretty sure my lunch that day wasn’t very good… bummer! oh
well… and snow?! so crazy... it has been really hot this week..
actually today i got up and it was so sunny and warm that when we left, i
didn’t bring my jacket. well, we went and ate, as we were eating it
started to rain. and i mean rain! so we ran back to the house to get a
jacket. like i said before, this weather is “bi polar”!
this week wasn’t too bad. we had interviews… which made me
feel a lot better. It’s always a treat being able to talk to president
one on one. he already knows that it’s a challenge being with my comp.
he asked me how we were and i said "its.. going… ha". he then proceeded
to explain to me how the cambio before was marriage class 101… all fun
and butterflies… only good things. now I’ve moved up to marriage class
505, where the things start to come out… it was funny. i really am
learning a lot. i sometimes look at the things that happen, the things
that he says or does, and the things that some people say to us. and,
well, before the mission i think i would have literally blown up at
them, but now i just brush it off. the mission is great for learning
patience. I’m definitely farrrrr from being really patient, but I’m
learning and that’s the important thing. we also were able to find
a bunch of good people this week. we are being blessed for our efforts…
for sure. we have worked reaaally hard these past few weeks and
we were even able to bring one person to church this Sunday.
she’s really nice and the gospel is what she needs in her life. some
issues we need to work out with her, but there is always hope.
just some random facts. i now know how to play chess :) and I’m pretty
much Chinese when it comes to ping pong. those activities are where i get
to get my mind off of the things that are bugging me… it’s kind of like
therapy. Anyway, just a random thought. oh, and Ivan got baptized this
last Saturday! he wrote me saying thanks for my help. i wish i could
have gone, it was just tooo far to travel. anyways i hope you all
have a great week! love you!
