that sounds like an oxymoron to me :). things are going well here. my
comp and i are getting along so well. we are having fun and i'm trying
to help with his Spanish. we had one baptismal date fall through because we
haven't been able to find the kid! Victor will be baptized, we just
need to find him and get permission from his mom. Richard is a little
hesitant on baptism... he is in a lot of extracurricular activities and
he thinks that he will have to stop all of them once he gets
baptized (that's how Evangelical and other churches are here.) so we are
trying to clear up those doubts. Camila and Hugo are ready to get
baptized! Hugo literally calls me two or three times a day to say hi and
to see if the baptism is still on. it's funny... but great that he has
such a desire to do so. things are moving... a couple downfalls, but i'm
sure things will work out! we had a conference this last week. it was
great. i cannot express to you the wonderful friends i have met on
the mission. i have awesome friends at home, but it's just different
here. it's a whole different bond when we are all here for one cause.
we all have different personalities, but we get along great and have
some good laughs! the way life should be! in the conference, President
talked about our talents and how the spirit really helps us develop
our talents. he said that in these two years we have such a great
opportunity to develop whatever talents the Lord gave us... because
of how close we are to the spirit in the mission field. so, i am trying
to identify my talents...if i have any... and set goals on how i can improve
on them. too bad i don't have my camera.... but things are going great here...
i love you all and hope you have a great week!
