Email #88...Monday, November 14, 2011

i can't believe where the time goes... the days just keep going by faster and faster! i can't seem to find enough time in the day for the things we need to do. this week went pretty well. the zone seems to be doing a lot better. we didn't have the greatest week as a zone, but we did better than the week before. there are just two sectors that are holding us back. but we have tried all that we could, we can't force them to do the things they need to do, so in that sense, we feel content with what we have done.

it's starting to get pretty hot! i cant believe it's already snowing there! this week we were visited by Elder Cook on Wednesday night at a Tri-Stake devotional. it was great to see him and to hear about the temple that they are starting soon in Concepcion! he talked about the importance of families and the things we need to do to keep our family strong. we already know what those are... prayer, scripture study, and family home evening. it was a,great devotional and helped me learn a lot about what i can do for my own family. then the next day for Mission Conference we were visited by Bishop McMullen from the Presiding Bishopric. he also spoke on the importance of obedience... just like the week before, when Elder Richard's spoke. obedience really is the key in life. it helps in every aspect, even in work! i'm not going to lie though. i wish they would talk about something a little more energetic...something to get the missionaries animo up. hopefully, soon they will!

all in all, things are going great. we have 3 baptisms this week (Javiera didn't go to church this last week so we have to move her date one more week) i'm so excited though. i can't believe another cambio is almost over! it's crazy... we just have one week left. we also have some other great investigators who are progressing pretty well. we are helping to get a couple married... hopefully soon. and the family with Sidney is doing well. i think Sidney is holding them back. he just wont pray! so keep him in your prayers. apparently he has had two dreams in a row about me telling him to pray... ha ha. apparently one was a night mare! i'm in people's nightmares! ugh... well, hopefully it helps him pray.

well, i love you all... have a great week!
